Broken Glass Makes Me Laugh

This may seem cruel, mocking and unpleasant to you. And I do not disagree that it has its vile and childish side. But comedy has no friends, mad people are funny, and it's not news that I'm an arsehole sometimes.

Follow the bouncing ball

A while back I posted a photo of thousands of bouncy balls being dumped onto the street in San Francisco. This is what it was for. See if it doesn't make you smile.

While you're at it, go here and watch the trailer for a documentary called Deep Blue (which apparently opened five months ago). The trailer starts off slow, but the images towards the end are amazing, and one bit make me gasp out loud when I first saw it.

I was driving down my street the other night and these two guys, probably in their early twenties, were walking kind of on the side of the road ahead of me. As I got closer, the guy furthest from me heard my car, and without looking back or breaking stride reached over and took his friend by the arm and pulled him in a little, out of my way. Kind of like, "Hey, look out." I don't know, I guess you had to see it, but I thought the unconscious way he did it was sort of sweet.

Man, did someone drug my drink or what? I'll be back tomorrow with bile to spare.

Petty classy commercial. Though seeing as I took one of those super-bouncy balls in the eye when I was in Highschool (had a blind spot in my vision for a short time thereafter), the commercial was caught between 'beautiful' and 'terrifying' for me.

Yeah...Deep Blue looks fantastic but they should have gone with someone else for the narration of the trailer. Maybe a guy with a sharp British/Indian accent.

I obviously don't think the guy will be narrating the movie (Christ I hope not anyway)!
